Building Services Technician Verizon has an opportunity for a building technician and the duties include but are not limited to the following: Inspects, maintains, repairs, and replaces building mechanical and electrical systems including building control systems, building heating and refrigeration systems, building fire detection and protection systems, and other building mechanical and electrical systems which are or may be installed in company operated buildings. Also performs other related duties as required. Essential Qualifications:
* EPA Universal certification (CFC)
* Minimum of two years HVAC experience
* Advanced knowledge of commercial air conditioning and heating
* Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and digital controls
* Working knowledge of automated building controls, fire alarms, electrical and plumbing systems
* Demonstrated effectiveness to interpret and use blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' specifications
* Demonstrated effective communication skills, including tact and courtesy
* Basic keyboard skills and experience working in MS Windows environment
* Must possess a valid Oregon drivers license
