Bilingual Operator
At Verizon operators provide the essential, courteous, accurate and quick service our customers rely on. You will provide assistance to callers requesting business, residential and government listings, horoscope readings, weather, movie listings, sports scores, etc. Must meet mandatory office objectives including call-handling times and customer courtesy.
Candidates must be flexible as work hours will vary and include days, nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts, such as a half tour in the morning and a half tour in the evening. 7-day-a-week, 24-hour-a-day environment.
Required:
* Must be fluent in English and Spanish
* You must be available to work days, evenings, nights weekends, holidays and split shifts such as half tour in the morning and a half tour in the evening. During high periods of high call volume, you may be required to work a 6-day week
* Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
* Ability to spell correctly
* Data entry skills
Desired:
* Previous customer contact experience communicating directly with customers and providing assistance over the phone or in person
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing pre-employment testing, a drug screen, and background investigation. Candidates must have no limitations which would prohibit them from performing all essential functions of the job.
